Empowering Black Youth Creatively
We enhance the mental health of Black youth in Toronto through arts, photography, and safe spaces for self-expression and growth.

A short story about us

Global Youth Empowerment Initiatives is a Black youth-led nonprofit organization based in Toronto, dedicated to enhancing the mental health, confidence, and creative potential of Black youth through free, immersive photography and arts programs.
We understand the unique challenges Black youth face including anti-Black racism, social exclusion, financial hardship, and mental health struggles especially in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.
